Burgerville is now accepting applications for Assistant Managers at multiple locations within the Portland-Metro area. If you meet the requirements below, we’d love to hear from you.

Requirements:
• Energy, passion, and an understanding of our mission statement a must
• 1-2+ yrs of previous restaurant management or supervisor experience preferred
• Previous management experience in a customer service environment highly preferred
• Strong customer service experience required
• Must have H.S. diploma or GED. College degree a big plus
• Inventory control experience preferred
• Demonstrable experience in two or more of the following:

o Employee scheduling

o Training and employee development

o Interviewing

o Restaurant floor management

o Food/labor cost

o High-volume

o Coaching/mentoring

o Time-management
• Experience managing time/resources
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
• Possess current Serve Safe and/or food handler’s permit, or be able to obtain
• Must be able to work legally in the US
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen

The Assistant Manager is responsible for the day to day operations including: Ensuring that impeccable guest service is maintained at all times; placing orders and entering invoices; motivating and coaching a team, while following the goals of the restaurant; inventory control; scheduling and meeting labor goals, must be a team player. The position requires minimal supervision. The work is verified by the General Manager. In addition, the Assistant Manager is accountable for long-range operational planning and budgetary compliance.
